Tom Felton`s semi-official website (for promoting his music mostly) is sounding off about what we should expect from the new Harry Potter film. Moviefone interviews him and it seems that not only is he grown as an actor but has demonstrated to be quite a charming young man with some semblance of wit and intelligence until a great deal of his American counterparts.

Harry Potter: Atheist

As if a large portion of America's fundamentalist isn't already threatened by the mere existence of Harry Potter books and movies, it's probably not going to help matters much that the star of the movies has come out as an atheist in Esquire magazine.

During the interview while discussing his frankness after expressing his unwillingness to see Michael Jackson's concert (this was before his death) after being invited, actor Daniel Radcliffe spills the beans on what he has slowly hinted at in interviews for years:

I'm an atheist, but I'm very relaxed about it. I don't preach my atheism, but I have a huge amount of respect for people like Richard Dawkins who do. Anything he does on television I will watch." He laughs. "There we go Dan, that's half of America that's not going to see the next Harry Potter film on the back of that comment!

Indeed.
